Jump 'n' Jive Big Band, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization,
is comprised of 11 - 19 professional musicians (trumpets,
trombones, saxophones, and full rhythm section - drums,
bass, guitar, piano) as well as conductor and singers. The
band members donate their time and talents toward our
mission and purpose.
Jump 'n' Jive rehearsals began at Xavier University in March of 2008, through the generosity of Ph.D. Kaleel Skeirik, Professor of Music. With swingin' arrangements, the band generates energy and excitement everywhere they perform. The band specializes in playing almost all types of events.
